A rolling stone is not mossing

From bookshelves to digital archives

10th October, the celebration day of Finnish literature, draws one's, and definitely, my mind to fall in spell with the words of art, flow of thoughts of e.g. Aleksis Kivi. Who in his poem: Longingness wanted to be buried under the bay willow dim (translations, good or worse, all mine), and as an English saying reminds: "problem shared is a problem past". Hopefully he got what he wanted.

SKS, the society of Finnish literature, has digitalized his works. So first editions are viewable without dust via the Internet, e.g. with a tablet-device on a click in address: http://neba.finlit.fi/kivi/

A photo of a cottage, a book and a squirrel.
Aleksis Kivi museum in Tuusula.

In a photo-collage above the images of a book and a squirrel are actually Strip Design stickers, the app, namely, gives an opportunity to create one's own stickers and modify them with it's drawing or/and marking tools. It is advisable not to delete stickers from the app's memory until the photo is saved in to tablet's book of photos if still in want to keep those stickers in it. ;D

Enjoyable timeless, digital moments with Finnish literature!
